We have added an article to the Webpage National Trading Standards Newsletter regarding scams for your information.
Just a reminder that there are several dates for the Alerter and Practitioner Level Training and we have added some extra dates for the training.
Places are still available on the following courses, book now to avoid disappointment:-
12th January 2015 – P3 – Practitioner Level Deprivation of Liberty and Restraint being held at The Hayridge Centre, Cullompton from 9.30 am – 12.30 pm
12th January 2015 – P4 – Practitioner Level Preventing Abuse and Responding to Poor Practice being held at The Hayridge Centre, Cullompton from 1.30 pm – 4.30 pm
Please note that a maximum of 4 delegates per session from any location will be booked onto the Training Courses
Domestic Violence Training:
We are currently running the Tackling Domestic Violence and Abuse Training for those who work in the Private and Voluntary Sector and we currently have 25 places available on the training from January – March 2015 (the details are in the Newsletter). If you require any further information on this training, please contact me on the details below.
Serious Case Review Workshops:
We would like to thank all the delegates who have attended the recent Serious Case Review Workshops. Currently there are no future dates planned, but we will keep you updated of any changes.
We do have a cancellation policy in place. See attached policy above.
Are we providing training close enough to you. If not, please let us know of a venue close to you that we can approach.
We have a Safeguarding Awareness Programme? This is a short DVD with guidance notes and accompanying downloadable workbook. This is aimed at all new members of staff and really useful for Team Meetings and is available at a cost of £15.00. Cheques made payable to Devon County Council. Sent to me at the address below.
The new Alerter Level Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards DVD and downloadable workbook can be provided at a cost of £15.00 and available from me. Cheques made payable to Devon County Council.
