Workforce Development Fund Subgroup Disband

Following the announcement at the end of last year that the WDF group for Devon, Plymouth and Torbay is due to disband from 1st April 2013 we would like to take this opportunity to thank the team that have worked extremely hard to make the Partnership a success over the years. Each of the Local Authorities are currently working on future plans to continue supporting the workforce in the Independent Sector. From 1st April 2013 please contact us in the following ways:

Skills for Care

Skills for Care really appreciate all the support that the WDG team have given to us over the years and the fantastic work they have achieved.We really want to continue supporting all Social Care Employers in Devon, Plymouth and Torbay and continue to keep you up to date with all relevant workforce news, new developments, workshops or events. Skills for Care’s work  includes funding through the Workforce Development Fund (WDF), meeting CQC workforce outcomes, qualifications, apprenticeships, recruitment and retention, common induction standards, NMDS-SC, end of life, dementia, assisted living technologies and community skills etc. For more information go to www.skillsforcare.org.uk.
