Time between the people I support is reduced because I don’t have to spend time looking for a parking space, and it saves me time having to move my car to find another space or if I my appointment overruns.
It’s less stressful because my visits are now on time, and I don’t rush them. I can focus more on my clients because I don’t have to worry about where to park.
I also carry equipment to and from my car like walking frames or wheelchairs, so being able to park close to the property is essential to prevent having to carry items a long way. In the past, I have always had to run the risk of getting a ticket.

As long as the correct permit is displayed in the vehicle, workers won’t have the hassle of finding spare change to fill a meter or of seeking reimbursement – this is a considerable saving and there will be financial benefits.
We check the permit and call the number displayed – the process works well. And because the permits are now promoted well we are encountering fewer care workers who need advice or who appeal parking tickets.
And if the visit overruns, workers can stay beyond the time limit. But remember… workers are only allowed to park while undertaking home visits.
